Cool climate wine from East Coast Tasmania.

Every bottle of Priory Ridge wine is made from grapes grown exclusively on our single vineyard, the most northern vineyard on Tasmania’s East Coast. Lovingly hand-tended and hand-picked, our grapes are never sourced from anywhere else, what’s in your glass began and ended its journey right here at Priory Ridge.

Our 20-hectare property sits on north-facing slopes that soak up the East Coast Tasmanian sun, providing ideal conditions for cool climate grape growing. The site’s unique Devonian granite soils, rich in minerals, give our wines their signature depth and character, a true reflection of place.

Once harvested, our fruit is taken just down the road to the legendary winemaker Brian Franklin of Apsley Gorge Vineyard, near Bicheno. With a longstanding connection to Burgundy, Brian travels to France each year, returning with French oak barrels to age each of our wines in the traditional Burgundian style.
